I had a great time staying here! The breakfast buffet was one of the best I've had in Guatemala, and the rooms were incredibly clean. I appreciated the kind service during my entire stay. Also, I didn't expect the lovely courtyards to be just like the pictures!

This place suits me perfectly, offering reliable wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and a lovely bar area. The staff's help in finding my lost necklace during my first stay is lovely. I highly recommend it! Coming back for Christmas!

The hotel boasts a fantastic location near the central plaza, with friendly staff and clean, spacious accommodations. However, the rooms can be quite cold, lacking heating, and noise from events can be disruptive. Breakfast options were limited, especially on weekdays, which was disappointing.

This was just an optimal selection for a lightning stop in Quetzaltenango with good price-value balance. They chased me down the street to return a valuable item I left behind, which really impressed me. Make sure to bring your own cheese for breakfast.

Decent Stay with Some Room for Improvement
We enjoyed the central location, with lovely eateries nearby. The staff provided friendly service, making us feel welcomed. However, prepare for some noise from the street if you’re in a room facing it. Ensure to check the cleanliness of breakfast items. it can be hit or miss.

Had a great time with friends! The hotel is in a perfect spot near Central Park, making it easy to stroll to spots like the local market and some amazing cafes. The staff was super friendly, and the rooms were warm and cozy during chilly nights. Definitely recommend it for a fun group getaway!
The breakfast options were a bit lacking. I was hoping for more variety, especially with cheese or cream for the beans and warm tortillas.

The hotel had a lot of character and the breakfast was quite good, which I appreciated. However, the numerous stairs were a challenge, especially since I was placed on the fifth floor. Whenever I needed a new key, I had to traverse five flights of stairs multiple times. Despite these inconveniences, the staff went out of their way to help me during my stay.

Pension Bonifaz is a charming place to stay in Quetzaltenango. The staff is exceptionally friendly and the rooms are clean and well-maintained. The central location made it easy to explore the area, and the hot water in the shower was reliable, which is a big plus. A highlight of my stay was the honesty of the staff. I accidentally left a valuable item behind, and they went out of their way to return it to me without hesitation.
The breakfast was below average and not as varied as expected.
